Nigerian music star Timaya recently shared an intriguing story about Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy, highlighting his confidence and determination.
According to Timaya, Burna Boy once ordered fellow musicians Omawumi and Waje out of a studio after they doubted his ambitious claims.
Timaya explained that during a studio session years ago, Burna Boy confidently predicted that he would one day be paid to board private jets.
At the time, this was a bold statement, as Nigerian artists hadn’t started flying private jets. Omawumi and Waje, surprised by the claim, expressed skepticism, which upset Burna Boy.
“Burna Boy is fearless; nothing he’s doing now surprises me,” Timaya said in an interview with Naija FM. “That day in the studio, Omawumi and Waje doubted him, and it got him angry. He stood up, opened the studio door, and told them to leave.”
